Adjustable Stroke Linear Actuators with Limit Switch

Force output ranges from 1,000 N (220 lbs) for the entry-level Trunion model up to 50,000 N (approximately 11,240 lbs) for the 60,000 N Force model. The Trunion series is scalable up to 77,500 N depending on configuration, making these actuators suitable for light manipulation tasks through heavy-duty valve actuation.

The Self-Compensated Linear Actuator includes all driver and logic circuitry internally, enabling standalone RS422/RS232 serial control without an external controller. The 60,000 N Force and Trunion models use a rotary resolver for position feedback but require an external driver and control logic, which is not included.

All actuators are available in Stainless Steel 316 (SST 316) or Titanium, both of which offer excellent corrosion resistance in marine and offshore saltwater environments. Seacon underwater connectors are used for reliable subsea electrical connections, ensuring long-term durability and watertight integrity.

The 60,000 N Force and Trunion models use a rotary resolver mounted on the motor shaft for real-time position feedback. The Self-Compensated model features a 30-bit absolute encoder on the output shaft, providing 14-bit resolution per turn plus a 16-bit turns counter, with position data retained between power cycles.

The Self-Compensated Linear Actuator supports RS422 (RS485 full duplex on 4 wires) and RS232 serial communication at 19,200 baud. It also includes a Windows software utility for configuration and status monitoring. The 60,000 N Force and Trunion models use resolver feedback and interface with external motion controllers.

These actuators are designed for ROVs, subsea valve and pipeline control, offshore oil and gas infrastructure, underwater robotics, marine research instrumentation, and water tank cleaning systems. Their adjustable stroke, limit switch functionality, and depth-rated construction make them versatile for both light inspection tasks and heavy industrial subsea operations.
