Underwater Linear Actuators

Our underwater linear actuators span a wide force range. The Self-Compensated model delivers up to 1,500 N (330 LBS), the Trunion 1000N scales from 1,000 N to 77,500 N, and the high-force model provides up to 50,000 N (60,000 N rated). This range covers light manipulation tasks through to heavy-duty subsea valve and pipeline actuation.

Our actuators are manufactured from Stainless Steel 316 (SST 316) or Titanium, both offering excellent corrosion resistance in saltwater and marine environments. Seacon or MCBH subcon underwater connectors are used for reliable subsea electrical connectivity. Material selection depends on depth rating, force requirements, and the specific deployment environment.

We offer two feedback options: a rotary resolver mounted on the motor shaft for external controller integration, and an integrated absolute 30-bit encoder on the output shaft that retains position between power cycles. Control interfaces include RS422 and RS232 serial communication at 19200 baud, with configurable software virtual limit switches and EEPROM-stored parameters.

Our actuators support 24 VDC, 48 VDC, and 230 VDC power supply options depending on the model. The Self-Compensated Linear Actuator operates at 24 VDC, while the Trunion 1000N supports 24, 48, and 230 VDC. The 60,000 N Force model operates at 230 VDC.
