Rotary Actuator – Self Compensated
- Rated to 3000 msw deep-sea depth
- 30-bit absolute encoder, 0.1° precision
- RS422/RS232 serial control, 24 VDC
Underwater Electric Rotary Actuators are precision-engineered, self-contained actuation systems designed for deep-sea and subsea applications. Rated to 3000 msw, they feature integrated electronics, absolute multi-turn encoders, and RS422/RS232 communication, making them ideal for ROVs, subsea valve control, and ocean research equipment.

The Rotary Actuator – Self Compensated is rated to 3000 msw (meters of seawater). It uses oil pressure compensation to equalize internal and external pressure, making it suitable for deep-sea ROVs, subsea robotics, and ocean research equipment operating at extreme depths without risk of pressure-induced failure.

All actuators are pressure-compensated with oil and certified for operation at depths up to 3,000 meters, ensuring reliable performance in the most demanding subsea environments.
Logic, driver circuitry, and absolute encoder are all housed within the actuator body, eliminating external controllers and simplifying subsea integration for ROVs and robotic systems.
A 30-bit absolute multi-turn encoder mounted on the output shaft retains precise position data between power cycles, ensuring zero positional drift and repeatable actuation accuracy.
