Linear Underwater Actuator Trunion 1000N
- Depth-rated to 6,000 m for deep-sea ops
- Scalable force: 1,000 N up to 77,500 N
- SST 316 or Titanium corrosion resistance
Lightweight linear underwater actuators from NV Mechanics Design Ltd. are engineered for deep-sea robotics, ROVs, and subsea automation. Rated to depths of 3,000–6,000 meters, these brushless motor-driven actuators deliver up to 77,500 N of axial force with precise position feedback, making them ideal for demanding underwater operations.

The actuators in this range are rated to either 3,000 msw (meters of sea water) or 6,000 meters depth, depending on the model. The Self-Compensated model is rated to 3,000 msw, while the Trunion 1000N and 60,000 N Force models are rated to 6,000 meters, making them suitable for deep-ocean ROV and subsea infrastructure deployments.

All driver and control circuitry is housed inside the actuator — no external electronics needed for standalone RS422/RS232 position control.
A 30-bit absolute encoder on the output shaft retains position data between power cycles, critical for uninterrupted subsea automation.
Pressure-compensated oil-filled housings and SST 316 or Titanium construction ensure reliable performance at depths up to 6,000 meters.
