The self-compensated linear and rotary actuators support RS422 (RS485 duplex on 4 wires) and RS232 serial communication at 19,200 baud (8, N, 1). Configurable parameters, including status broadcast frequency and virtual limit switches, are stored in internal EEPROM for persistent, power-cycle-safe operation.

The self-compensated models feature an integrated 30-bit absolute multi-turn encoder mounted on the output shaft, providing 14-bit single-turn resolution (16,383 counts/turn) with position retained between power cycles. The 6,000m linear actuators use an external rotary resolver on the motor shaft for precise position feedback.
